Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Coach role based in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Coach will support employees and teams in developing professional competencies, improving performance, and achieving organizational goals through structured coaching sessions and ongoing guidance. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting one-on-one and group coaching, identifying development needs, creating tailored coaching plans, and tracking progress against agreed objectives. The Coach will collaborate with managers and HR to align coaching activities with business priorities, facilitate workshops and skill-building sessions, and provide clear feedback to help individuals enhance their financial, communication, and leadership capabilities. The role also involves maintaining accurate records of coaching interventions, preparing concise reports, and contributing ideas to strengthen the overall learning and development strategy.
Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong coaching, mentoring, and facilitation skills focused on performance improvement and behavioral change.
• Candidates should possess solid communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills to build trust and engage diverse teams.
• Candidates should possess skills in goal setting, progress monitoring, and basic data interpretation to evaluate coaching outcomes.
• Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of financial services or business operations, with the ability to relate coaching to organizational objectives.
• Candidates should possess organizational and time-management skills to plan sessions, manage multiple coachees, and meet deadlines.
• Relevant experience in professional coaching, training, or people development, preferably within corporate or financial sectors, is highly beneficial.
• Recognized coaching certifications, or training in psychology, education, business, or human resources, are an advantage.
• Ability to work respectfully with colleagues from diverse backgrounds, uphold ethical standards, and maintain confidentiality in all coaching interactions.
