Role Summary
The Quality Assurance Analyst – Kenya will be responsible for supporting the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of quality assurance systems across Finwerd’s operations within the East African region.
The role will focus on ensuring compliance with food safety standards, internal quality policies, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications. The successful candidate will support product quality monitoring, supplier quality management, documentation control, audits, investigations, and corrective action processes.
This position requires a highly organised, analytical, and detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of food safety systems, quality management principles, and regulatory compliance within the food and beverage industry.
Responsibilities
• Support the implementation and monitoring of quality assurance and food safety systems.
• Conduct quality checks, inspections, and compliance monitoring activities.
• Assist with audits, investigations, corrective actions, and regulatory documentation.
• Monitor product quality standards and investigate non-conformances or customer complaints.
• Maintain accurate quality records, reports, and SOP documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational quality and continuous improvement.
Key Competencies
• Strong understanding of quality assurance, GMP, HACCP, and food safety systems.
• Good analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ relevant experience in quality assurance, food safety, or compliance within the food and beverage industry.
• Experience working with food manufacturing, ingredient distribution, or FMCG companies is highly desirable.
• Professional certifications in food safety or quality management will be an added advantage.
