Reporter

Role Description This is an on-site internship Reporter role based in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Reporter will research and cover customer experience stories, interviews, events, and trends relevant to CX in Africa. Day-to-day tasks include gathering information, conducting interviews, verifying facts, and producing clear and engaging written and multimedia content for CX Academy Africa’s platforms. The role involves collaborating with trainers, content teams, and partners to identify newsworthy CX developments and craft narratives that inform and inspire professionals. The Reporter will also assist with editing, publishing content, and supporting social and digital channels to increase audience reach and engagement.

Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Reporting and News Writing skills to identify, investigate, and present CX-related stories accurately and clearly.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Writing skills to convey complex ideas in an accessible and engaging manner.
• Candidates should possess basic Multimedia skills, such as handling audio, video, or visual content, to support storytelling across multiple formats.
• Strong attention to detail, fact-checking ability, and ethical journalism standards are highly beneficial.
• Relevant studies or background in Journalism, Communication, Media, or a related field are preferred.
• Interest in customer experience, business, and African markets, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment, is advantageous.
