🌴 Now Hiring: Food & Beverage Manager | Zanzibar, Tanzania
The Zanzibar Collection is an award-winning collection of four boutique luxury resorts located on the idyllic southeast coast of Zanzibar. Renowned for exceptional hospitality, authentic island experiences, and personalized service, we are seeking an outstanding Food & Beverage Manager to lead our F&B operations and continue delivering unforgettable dining experiences.
The Opportunity
• This is a full-time, on-site leadership position based in Zanzibar. Reporting to senior management, you will oversee all Food & Beverage operations, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction while maintaining the highest standards of service, quality, profitability, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage all Food & Beverage outlets and daily operations
• Drive exceptional guest experiences through outstanding service delivery
• Recruit, coach, mentor and inspire a high-performing F&B team
• Maintain the highest standards of food, beverage and service quality
• Manage budgets, stock control, cost management and profitability
• Work closely with the Executive Chef and other Heads of Department to continually enhance the guest experience
• Ensure compliance with all health, hygiene and safety standards
Requirements
✔ Minimum 3–5 years' management experience within a luxury 5-star hotel or international resort
✔ Degree or Higher Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field
✔ Proven leadership, communication and people management skills
✔ Strong commercial awareness with sound financial and operational knowledge
✔ Excellent food, wine, beverage and service knowledge
✔ Experience with MICROS, Symphony and/or OPERA systems will be a distinct advantage
✔ Fluency in English is essential. Additional foreign languages and/or Swahili would be advantageous.
Remuneration & Benefits
• USD 1,500 – 2,000 per month (dependent on experience)
• Minimum two-year contract
• Work & residence permits (where applicable)
• Management accommodation provided
• Medical insurance
• Annual return flights home
