Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Head Barista to build out our coffee program, based in Nairobi. The Head Barista will be responsible for crafting and serving high-quality espresso-based and specialty coffee drinks, developing and refining the coffee menu, and ensuring a consistently excellent experience for every guest. Day-to-day tasks include preparing beverages to a high standard, operating and maintaining espresso machines and brewing equipment, managing coffee inventory and supplier relationships, and training and guiding other staff on coffee preparation. The role also involves maintaining cleanliness of the coffee station, upholding food and beverage safety standards, coordinating closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff, and promoting the restaurant's coffee offerings to guests.
Qualifications
