Job Description
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the overall business strategy, execution, and performance of Mobikey Uganda, Tanzania & Kenya, ensuring strong results across P&L, growth, and operational efficiency.
• Drive commercial development: identify opportunities, build partnerships, and strengthen market presence.
• Manage and develop local teams, fostering a high-performance culture, capability building, and strong leadership routines.
• Ensure operational excellence across all functions (sales, aftersales/service operations, parts, logistics, administration), aligned with Grupo JAP standards.
• Establish and monitor KPIs, reporting cadence, and governance to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, internal policies, and brand/manufacturer standards where applicable.
• Represent the company locally with key stakeholders (partners, authorities, corporate clients) while maintaining alignment with HQ.
Profile & Requirements
• Proven experience in general management / country management / business unit leadership, ideally in automotive, mobility, equipment, or services environments.
• Strong track record managing P&L, budgets, and multi-department operations.
• Strong commercial mindset with solid negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing diverse teams in international or emerging-market contexts (preferred).
• High autonomy, resilience, and adaptability to work in an expatriate setting.
• Fluency in English is mandatory (Portuguese is a plus).
• Willingness to relocate to East Africa under an expatriate assignment.
