Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Associate Advocate located in Nairobi. The Associate Advocate will represent clients in legal proceedings, draft and review legal documents, and provide legal counsel on a variety of matters. The role involves conducting legal research, preparing legal opinions, managing case files, and ensuring compliance with relevant legal standards. Additionally, the advocate will collaborate with colleagues and maintain productive client relationships.

Qualifications
• 1-2 Years in practice
• Strong legal writing, drafting, and preparation skills for court documents, contracts, and agreements
• Proficient in legal research and analysis to provide accurate and practical advice
• Excellent oral advocacy and negotiation skills for effective representation and dispute resolution
• Outstanding organization, time management, and attention to detail in managing case files and deadlines
• Proven ability to build and maintain positive client relations and uphold client confidentiality
• Admitted to the Kenyan Bar and holding a valid practicing certificate
• Knowledge of Kenyan legal framework, policies, and procedures
• Proficiency in using relevant legal software and research tools
• Commitment to ethical practices, professional development, and continuous learning
