Sales Team Leader β YourGreenhouses (Fully Remote | 1099 / Freelance Contract)
Job Description
YourGreenhouses is the biggest greenhouse brand in the US. 15 years in business, 100,000+ units sold annually, and products stocked in Walmart nationwide. We're scaling fast and looking for a proven sales leader to grow and lead our inside sales team.
This is a ground-floor leadership opportunity. You'll inherit a team of 8 high-intent warm-lead closers and own the mission of scaling it to 20.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll lead a team of inside sales reps working a consistent pipeline of warm inbound leads - abandoned checkouts, survey responses, social inquiries, and direct requests. Average order value is $6,000. No cold calling. Customers come to us ready to buy.
Your job is to make sure your team converts at the highest level possible, and to build the team that gets there.
β’ Monitor rep performance daily across conversion rate, speed-to-lead, and revenue output
β’ Coach reps through call reviews, live feedback, and structured 1:1s
β’ Recruit, interview, and onboard new inside sales reps as the team scales from 8 to 20
β’ Hold the team accountable to same-day follow-up and CRM hygiene
β’ Identify performance gaps early and fix them before they become patterns
β’ Work directly with leadership to refine processes, pipeline strategy and building a world class team.
Who You Are
You've been a top-performing team leader / closer yourself , and now you want to multiply that through a team. You know what good phone sales looks like because you've lived it. You lead by example, move fast, and don't confuse activity with results.
You thrive here if you:
β’ Have 3+ years in phone-based B2C or B2B sales, with at least 1 year leading or mentoring a sales team
β’ Know how to recruit sales talent and spot a closer in an interview
β’ Can coach reps on both mindset and mechanics - rapport, objection handling, closing
β’ Are obsessive about conversion rate, not just call volume
β’ Can operate independently in a fully remote environment without hand-holding
β’ Think like an owner - your team's numbers are your numbers
Compensation
Base + % from team's sales that scales as your team grows and performs. The bigger and better your team, the more you earn.
