Managing Director, Consulting Services (Remote, Washington, DC)

For our client, we are seeking a Managing Director, Consulting Services (remote, Washington, Dc) to join the team of a leader in the Education, Government & Non-Profit space. This role will support high-impact work that contributes directly to business performance and team success. You will collaborate across functions to move priorities forward, solve complex problems, and deliver measurable outcomes.

The position offers the opportunity to influence both strategic direction and day-to-day execution in a fast-moving environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $225,000 – $275,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning for the Consulting Services division

• Guide development of consulting services for Health and Human Services programs

• Develop go-to-market strategies for new services and regions

• Identify public sector market opportunities beyond traditional domains

• Collaborate with leadership to set growth targets and assess progress

• Serve as executive sponsor for key accounts ensuring client satisfaction

• Foster partnership with government officials and stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public administration, IT, business, or health policy

• 15+ years in public sector management consulting with Health and Human Services focus

• Experience in expanding consulting services into new markets

• Strong knowledge of state and local government procurement and regulatory frameworks

• Proficiency in IT, AI, and technology-enabled consulting solutions
