Logistics Coordinator - Nairobi
Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Researches upcoming 30/60/90 day shipment data for OFCI and CFCI freight, provides summary assessment and identifies next steps for project team to coordinate freight, actualize shipments and ensure STD/RDD dates are met
• Develops corrective actions to resolve issues with data in SLM including process/procedure development and cross site/functional input to improve process and systems
• Executes data updates in SLM to ensure data accuracy, understands data to provide direction to LSC/logistics PM, provides direction to LSC Global Logistics and other supplies based on utilization of data to make decisions
• Ensure close out of received goods within 72 hours, proactively reach out on exceptions, misses or errors and maintain data integrity ensuring NIT numbers are added to SLM data to effectively communicate with customers
• Know, understand and provide relevant data in dock meetings to assist PM's, DPS and logistics team can utilize data to manage the business
• Provide customer support to PM base including issue resolution, direct feedback on SLM data and transportation requests
