Walk Buddy Volunteers
As a Walk Buddy Volunteer (WBV), you will play a leading role in promoting the Goal300 Walk for Peace and Education event to your peers, community, and network. You will help them register and make payments through our online Paybill. You will also liaise with the office to collect the branded T-Shirts and distribute them to the participants who have successfully registered.
For the Corporate mobilizers, you will mobilize the corporate organizations to register teams of 5 or 10 participants and make their donations either by paybill or cheques. You will also collect and deliver T-shirts and other materials to the corporate organizations, upon successful verification of payment details. You will be an ambassador of the organization for the Goal300 Walk for Peace and Education.
Key Responsibilities
• Mobilization: Mobilize individuals and corporate organizations to register for the Goal300 Walk for peace and education.
• T-shirt Distribution: Distribute Branded T-Shirts to registered individuals and corporate organizations.
• Merchandise Sale: Promote and sell our Branded Merchandise to individuals and corporate organizations to raise funds for the Scholarships and training programs.
• Registration assistant: Assist individuals in registering for the Goal300 Annual Walk for Peace and Education.
Qualifications and Skills
• Certificate or Diploma in Sales and Marketing, Communication, Community Development, or Business Administration
• Confident, Charismatic, and a self-starter
• Have a passion for community service and charity.
• You are a good communicator.
• Good knowledge of Nairobi
