Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented WordPress Content & Website Assistant to update and organize our eCommerce website. The ideal candidate will have experience with WordPress and WooCommerce, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a consistent user experience across the site.
Responsibilities
Review and organize all internal website links to ensure they point to the correct pages.
Identify and fix broken or outdated links throughout the website.
Create and add a website footer on the homepage and across all pages that includes:
Privacy Policy
Refund Policy
Update the website templates by replacing all floral-related promotional content with comic book discount promotions.
Ensure all banners, buttons, and calls-to-action reflect the new comics branding.
Verify that template changes are responsive on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
Test all navigation, menus, and links after implementation.
Maintain consistency in fonts, colors, branding, and layout.
Optimize page formatting without affecting website functionality.
Report completed tasks and document any issues requiring additional attention.
Required Skills
Experience with WordPress.
Experience with WooCommerce.
Basic HTML and CSS knowledge.
Familiarity with page builders such as Elementor, Gutenberg, or similar.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to identify and correct UI/UX inconsistencies.
Good written English.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with online stores.
Basic SEO knowledge.
Experience optimizing website performance.
Familiarity with website backups and staging environments.
Deliverables
All website links reviewed and corrected.
Footer implemented across the website with links to the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.
All floral discount templates replaced with comic discount promotions.
Website tested on desktop and mobile devices.
Final report summarizing completed changes and any recommendations for future improvements.
