Job Description
Role Description The Ecommerce Specialist will manage and optimize Safari Group’s and Kenya Airways online retail platforms to drive sales, enhance customer experience, and support brand visibility. This full-time, on-site role based in Nairobi County, Kenya involves overseeing product listings, pricing, promotions, and inventory accuracy across ecommerce channels. The role includes collaborating with marketing and sales teams to execute online campaigns, analyzing performance metrics, and recommending improvements to conversion rates and customer engagement. The Ecommerce Specialist will respond to customer inquiries, coordinate with logistics for order fulfillment, and ensure timely resolution of service issues. The position also requires staying updated on ecommerce trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth.
Qualifications
• Strong E-Commerce knowledge with experience managing online marketplaces, product listings, and digital storefronts.
• Proficient Analytical Skills for tracking KPIs, interpreting data, and generating actionable insights to improve online performance.
• Excellent Customer Service abilities, including handling inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a positive shopper experience.
• Effective Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and engaging with customers in a clear, professional manner.
• Demonstrated Sales skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in an online or retail environment.
• Familiarity with ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar), digital payment systems, and basic SEO principles.
• Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, IT, or a related field; prior experience in retail or travel retail is an advantage.
