Portal Pharmacy is looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to lead our social media presence and help drive online sales.

This role is ideal for someone with both social media marketing experience and a medical or skincare background, such as a Pharmacist, Pharmaceutical Technologist, Pharmaceutical Dermatologist, or someone with relevant healthcare or skincare experience.

We're looking for someone who is not only creative but also a strong salesperson who understands how to convert social media enquiries into paying customers.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute our social media strategy across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other platforms.
• Create monthly content calendars aligned with marketing campaigns and business objectives.
• Plan, film and edit engaging short-form videos, reels and educational content.
• Write compelling captions and high-converting promotional content.
• Respond promptly to customer enquiries and direct messages across all social media platforms.
• Recommend suitable products based on customers' needs and confidently close sales through social media conversations.
• Follow up with potential customers to maximise conversions.
• Work closely with our pharmacy and beauty teams to create accurate, educational and engaging content.
• Monitor social media performance and prepare reports with actionable insights.
• Collaborate with influencers, suppliers and brand partners on campaigns.
• Stay up to date with digital marketing and social media trends.

What We're Looking For:
• Minimum 3 years' experience managing social media for a business or brand.
• Healthcare or strong skincare background preferred
• Proven ability to sell products and convert customer enquiries into sales.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and social media best practices.
• Experience creating engaging photo and video content.
• Excellent copywriting skills.
• Comfortable appearing on camera and directing content creation.
• Proficient in Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite or similar content creation tools.
• Highly organised with strong planning and time management skills.
