Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Commercial – Kenya / East Africa / Lead generation & prospecting
• Own and drive revenue targets for ki risk, ki score & ki monitor (risk infra solutions)
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across banks and non-bank financial institutions. FinTech’s, MFIs, Merchants, B2B, SACCO’s & digital lenders
• Manage the full sales cycles: lead generation, discovery, solutioning, proposal, negotiation and closure
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders (Risk heads, credit operations heads, product heads and CIO’s)
• Prepare ki risk pricing proposals, commercials & contracts
• Execute RFP / RFQ’s responses for ki risk infra solutions
Solutioning
• Understand client credit lifecycle (origination, underwriting, monitoring, collections)
• Position ki score/view/ monitor to be aligned to client needs
• Work with data science and product teams to customise demos, POC’s and pilots
• Translate technical model features into business value (risk reduction, approval rate improvement, loss optimization).
Account and Market Management
• Develop account plans and long-term growth strategies for key clients
• Conduct continuous primary and secondary research on fintech trends, mobile money ecosystems, digital payments, credit solutions, regulatory developments, and competitor activities within East Africa.
• Map market size, growth opportunities, customer pain points, transaction behaviours, and digital adoption patterns.
• Support end-to-end partner pipeline management (prospecting → outreach → pitch → onboarding).
• Assist in negotiation prep, drafting proposals, and commercial discussions. Support planning and execution of GTM strategies for new products, services, and market launches.
• Gather early customer/merchant feedback and translate insights into actionable product improvements.
• Assist in monitoring campaign effectiveness and adoption metrics.
• Upsell / cross-sell additional analytics, decisioning and ki infra risk products
• Provide ongoing support to onboarded clients to ensure their increased usage / patronage.
• Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and sales activities using the defined Kaleidofin CRM toolkit to track progress, manage pipelines and forecast sales opportunities
Sales Reporting
• Provide periodic updates to internal stakeholders regarding lead status, pipeline progression and any other insights gained during interactions
Who You Need to Be ?
• Master’s degree in business, Finance, Technology, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in enterprise sales of analytics, AI/ML, credit risk, or financial infrastructure solutions.
• Demonstrated experience engaging financial institutions across multiple India and APAC markets.
• Strong understanding of credit risk frameworks and lending lifecycle.
• Familiarity with AI-driven underwriting and digital lending ecosystems.
• Experience navigating cross-border regulatory environments.
• Proven track record of owning regional revenue targets.
• Commercial expertise in pricing strategy and enterprise partnerships.
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation capability.
• Entrepreneurial mindset suited to building new market categories.
