Through our kitchens, technology, logistics network, and merchant partnerships, we deliver thousands of meals every week while building the future of food commerce in Africa.

We’re looking for an Operations Associate to help manage day-to-day order operations at our kitchen locations in Nairobi and ensure every order is delivered accurately, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

The Role

As an Operations Associate, you will be at the center of our kitchen operations, coordinating between chefs, riders, customer support teams, and technology platforms to ensure a seamless customer experience.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with people, and keeping operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
• Monitor and manage incoming orders across delivery platforms and internal systems
• Coordinate order preparation, packaging, and dispatch to ensure timely delivery
• Work closely with kitchen teams to prioritize orders and resolve operational bottlenecks
• Coordinate with riders to ensure efficient pickups and smooth delivery operations
• Verify order accuracy, presentation, and packaging standards before dispatch
• Escalate and resolve customer, rider, or operational issues in real time
• Track key operational metrics such as preparation times, dispatch times, and order accuracy
• Support inventory checks for packaging materials and operational supplies
• Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and operational compliance
• Assist with daily reporting and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field
• 1+ years of experience in operations, hospitality, logistics, retail, restaurants, or customer service is an added advantage
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment
• High attention to detail and strong sense of ownership
• Basic proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, and digital systems
