Sacco Finance Manger
Job Description
• Provide strategic financial leadership and oversee all finance and accounting operations.
• Lead budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and preparation of financial reports.
• Manage cash flow and working capital to support smooth operations and institutional growth.
• Ensure timely preparation of statutory and regulatory reports and compliance with financial regulations.
• Oversee payroll administration, bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, and financial record management.
• Supervise payments to suppliers, maintenance of payment records, and preparation of member refunds.
• Ensure accurate postings, journals, account reconciliations, and updating of members’ accounts.
• Provide timely financial analysis and management reports to support strategic decision-making.
• Strengthen internal controls, accountability, and financial risk management.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
• CPAK/ACCA qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience, preferably in a Sacco or financial institution.
• Strong leadership, analytical, strategic planning, and financial management skills.
