Colorado Remote: Biller for ABA company

We are looking for a detail-oriented medical or behavioral health biller with at least three to five years of experience billing medical and/or behavioral health claims to commercial insurances, Tricare, and Medicaid. Must also possess extensive experience resolving insurance denials and filing appeals for denied claims. This knowledge of billing professional claims, resolving denials, and filing appeals must be demonstrated during an interview.

Primary functions for this position will be auditing provider claims and progress notes, checking eligibility and benefits, billing claims to commercial insurances, Tricare, and Colorado Medicaid, resolving denials, submitting reconsiderations, and filing appeals.

Family Support Center specializes in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder. We provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children aged 2-18 in one of our local centers, in the home, and in the community. Description of role:

Performs diversified administrative functions for the billing office. Communicates via email effectively. Work with staff to ensure units are accurate and ready to bill.

Skills and requirements:

3+ years of relevant experience (5 preferred).

Organized, have a strong ability to multitask, and be flexible with change.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Excellent customer service skills.

Work Schedule:

M-F 8am-4:30pm. Full-time Remote position available. May include Saturdays. Company equipment will be provided.

Salary: Starting rate between $19.00- $22.00 an hour
