Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Nairobi County, Kenya, for a Senior Web Developer. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining modern, responsive websites and web applications. Key responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, optimizing website performance, implementing best coding practices, and troubleshooting technical issues. The Senior Web Developer will also mentor junior developers and contribute to technical decision-making within the team.
Qualifications
• Expertise in Back-End Web Development and Programming with experience in server-side languages and frameworks.
• Proficiency in Front-End Development and Web Design, including responsive design and user experience optimization.
• Strong background in full-stack Web Development and integration of front-end and back-end interfaces.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize web applications for high performance.
• Experience leading technical projects and mentoring team members is an advantage.
• Familiarity with digital transformation projects and cloud-based technologies is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
