📢 Job Vacancy: Community Oral Health Officer (COHO)
ALGADHIR CENTER LIMITED is seeking a qualified and experienced Community Oral Health Officer to join our team in Nairobi County on a full-time, on-site basis.

Key Responsibilities
Examine, diagnose and manage common oral health conditions
Carry out dental scaling, extractions, fillings and other basic restorative procedures within the COHO scope of practice
Provide oral health education and promote preventive dental care to patients and communities
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
Participate in community outreach and public health campaigns
Observe infection prevention, sterilization and patient safety standards
Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care

Qualifications
Diploma in Community Oral Health from a recognized institution
Valid registration and current practicing licence from the relevant professional body
Minimum of 3 years continuous working experience in a busy dental clinic or healthcare setting
Practical experience in patient examination, diagnosis, scaling, extractions, fillings and oral health counselling
Good understanding of infection prevention and control procedures
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact well with patients
Ability to work independently, manage patients professionally and maintain confidentiality
Proactive, organized and detail-oriented
