WordPress Website Maintenance & Support (Ongoing – Service Business)

We are a residential painting company based in Boca Raton, Florida looking for a reliable WordPress developer to provide ongoing website maintenance and technical support.

This role focuses on maintaining and improving our existing website. You will work alongside our Local SEO specialist, who will guide content and SEO changes that need to be implemented on the site.

We are not looking for a full website rebuild — we need someone dependable who can keep the website running smoothly and implement updates when needed.

Responsibilities

Website Maintenance

• Update WordPress core, themes, and plugins

• Monitor site health and fix technical issues

• Troubleshoot plugin conflicts or site errors

• Ensure website security and stability

Page Updates & Content Implementation

• Add and format new service pages

• Upload and format blog posts

• Update images, text, and page layouts

• Implement SEO recommendations from our SEO specialist

Website Performance

• Monitor and improve page speed

• Optimize images and media files

• Ensure mobile responsiveness

• Maintain clean site structure

Technical Support

• Fix broken links or formatting issues

• Resolve layout problems on pages

• Assist with minor design improvements

• Implement tracking tools if needed (Google Analytics, Search Console, etc.)

Ideal Candidate

• Strong experience with WordPress website maintenance

• Familiar with Elementor, Gutenberg, or similar builders

• Comfortable implementing SEO changes such as page titles, meta descriptions, schema, etc.

• Experience optimizing website speed and performance

• Able to troubleshoot plugin conflicts or WordPress errors

• Good communication and quick response times

Bonus experience:

• Familiarity with SEO best practices

• Experience working with service business websites

Expected Workload

This is an ongoing maintenance role, but the workload will typically be small.

Expected workload: 2–6 hours per month

Occasionally more if we add new pages or features.
