Position: Scheduler

Availability: Monday to Friday

Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST - Nairobi Kenya: 4:00 PM – 1:00 AM (EAT)

English level required: 8.0 – 9.0
• Job Summary*

Ressarg Ventures is seeking a highly organized and proactive Home Care Scheduler to coordinate caregiver assignments and ensure timely, high‑quality service for clients. This role is essential for maintaining efficient schedules, supporting field staff, and ensuring compliance with home‑care standards.
• Key Responsibilities*

1. Scheduling & Staffing

Create, assign, and update daily/weekly schedules for caregivers and clients.

Match caregivers based on skills, availability, proximity, and compliance.

Respond quickly to call‑offs and last‑minute scheduling changes.

Ensure all shifts are filled within required service timelines.

2. Communication

Act as the main point of contact for caregivers regarding scheduling updates.

Inform clients and families of any changes or new caregiver assignments.

Maintain professional communication via phone, email, and scheduling platforms.

3. Compliance & Documentation

Ensure caregivers meet regulatory requirements (certifications, TB tests, background checks).

Maintain accurate records in EMR/scheduling systems such as WellSky, ClearCare, or HHAeXchange.

Track attendance, hours, and punctuality for payroll and reporting.

4. Customer Service

Provide excellent service by understanding client needs and preferences.

Follow up on missed shifts, concerns, or performance issues.

Support service recovery by resolving scheduling problems promptly.

5. Operational Support

Collaborate with Operations, HR, and Clinical teams to maintain staffing coverage.

Assist with onboarding scheduling for new caregivers.

Prepare weekly reports on open shifts, fill rates, and attendance patterns.

Participate in rotating on‑call duties as needed.
• Required Skills & Qualifications*

High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred.

1+ year of experience in home care, medical staffing, customer service, or call center roles.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience with scheduling systems and Microsoft Office tools.

Ability to work under pressure and manage constant changes.

Strong problem‑solving and time‑management skills.
