[Remote] Territory Sales Manager – Capital Healthcare Solutions
Job Description
Responsibilities
• Develop and execute a strategic territory business plan to achieve and exceed annual sales goals
• Identify, develop, and close new capital equipment opportunities within hospitals and health systems
• Manage projects from initial design through installation and customer follow-up
• Build strong relationships with hospital leadership, facilities management, clinical engineering, supply chain, nursing leadership, architects, equipment planners, contractors, and distribution partners
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and healthcare planners during new construction and renovation projects
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and educational meetings
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast using CRM software
• Stay informed on healthcare industry trends, competitive products, and construction activity within the territory
• Work closely with National Accounts, distributors, and internal teams to maximize territory growth
• Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and customer events
Skills
• Minimum of 3 years of successful capital healthcare sales experience
• Experience selling capital equipment, healthcare storage, healthcare furniture, clinical workspace solutions, or other capital products into hospitals or health systems
• Experience working with architects, equipment planners, contractors, or healthcare construction and renovation projects
• Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas
• Strong consultative selling, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage complex, long sales-cycle capital projects from specification through installation
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• Must reside in Los Angeles County
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory
• Existing relationships with hospital systems, architects, equipment planners, or distribution partners within Southern California
• Experience with HubSpot or other CRM platforms
• Experience working with GPOs (Vizient, Premier, HealthTrust, etc.)
• Knowledge of hospital capital budgeting, procurement, and equipment planning processes
• Experience calling on Facilities, Clinical Engineering, Perioperative Services, Supply Chain, Imaging, or Sterile Processing departments
