Job Description: The System Support GL Specialist is responsible for configuration, ongoing support, and maintenance of the system General Ledger within all supported payroll engines. This role ensures accurate GL system configuration, stable day-to-day operations, and reliable integration between the GL and subsidiary systems. The specialist partners with external clients to obtain data needed for successful GL implementation, and supports reporting accuracy, system compliance, and controlled configuration changes in a production environment. Responsibilities 路 Configure and maintain General Ledger system components 路 Troubleshoot and resolve GL-related system issues, including payroll errors 路 Monitor GL processing to ensure accuracy, completeness, and data integrity. 路 Support daily, month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities. 路 Ensure that project deadlines are met. 路 Correspond with clients via email and phone in a timely manner. 路 Assist in maintenance of a client鈥檚 GL file (i.e., updates or missing GL accounts). 路 Serve as a primary support contact for GL-related system incidents and requests. 路 Perform root cause analysis for recurring configuration or processing issues. 路 Track, prioritize, and document incidents and changes through resolution. Skills 路 2+ years of experience supporting and configuring General Ledger systems, or equivalent experience supporting system configurations in a production environment. 路 Customer support experience with HRIS or enterprise systems, including payroll and time & attendance, is preferred but not required. 路 Strong customer-facing skills, including clear and professional verbal and written communication. 路 Experience supporting U.S.-based customers is preferred but not required. 路 Demonstrated ability to work independently with exceptional attention to detail. 路 Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills. 路 Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production support environment.
