Business Development Manager Idaro Skincare -Nairobi, Kenya (Hybrid / Field)

The Role
We’re hiring a Business Development Manager to lead our next growth phase. This is not a routine sales role - we need a self-driven strategist who opens doors, builds high-value partnerships, negotiates with senior decision-makers, and drives sustainable revenue growth.
Your Mission
Generate revenue and accelerate Idaro’s market leadership by winning new accounts, growing existing customers, and creating long-term strategic partnerships that position Idaro as Kenya’s premium body-care brand.
Key Responsibilities
• Prospect and open new accounts across pharmacies, beauty retailers, spas, hotels, supermarkets, and wellness outlets.
• Develop and execute a structured business development strategy.
• Build relationships with owners, buyers, procurement teams, and senior decision-makers.
• Identify and win corporate gifting and hospitality partnerships (hotels, lodges, serviced apartments, premium Airbnb).
• Manage and grow strategic accounts; negotiate commercial agreements.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and submit accurate weekly pipeline and sales reports.
• Collaborate with merchandising and marketing to maximise account performance.
• Consistently hit agreed revenue and account growth targets.

Minimum Qualifications
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Business Development, Key Account Management, FMCG, Pharmaceuticals, Beauty, Hospitality, or related industries.
• Demonstrable experience opening and growing business accounts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting.
• Valid driver’s licence is an advantage.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• New strategic accounts opened.
• Monthly revenue generated and account growth.
• Corporate and hospitality partnerships secured.
• Pipeline quality, conversion rate, and customer retention.
Compensation
Competitive base salary plus an attractive performance-based commission structure.
