Reception & Community Coordinator
Job Description
This is a client-facing role at the heart of our studio community. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating an exceptional experience for clients, supporting day-to-day studio operations, and ensuring the reception area runs smoothly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Welcome and check in clients
β’ Manage reception and front-of-house operations
β’ Respond to client enquiries in person, by phone and via WhatsApp
β’ Support community engagement and client communication
β’ Assist with bookings, scheduling and administration
β’ Maintain a clean, welcoming and professional studio environment
β’ Support events, workshops and studio activities
β’ Ensure accurate client records and attendance tracking
β’ Assist with operational tasks as required
We are looking for someone who:
β’ Has excellent communication skills in English and Swahili
β’ Is warm, professional and client-focused
β’ Has strong attention to detail
β’ Is organised and reliable
β’ Takes initiative and works proactively
β’ Is comfortable using technology and learning new systems
β’ Thrives in a fast-paced environment
β’ Enjoys working as part of a team
β’ Is punctual, accountable and dependable
Previous experience in customer service, reception, hospitality, administration, wellness or community-focused roles would be advantageous.
Position Details
Location: Nairobi
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: KES 28,000 β 38,000 depending on experience
Please note that this role includes early morning, evening and occasional weekend shifts.
