Role: Front End Developer
Model: 100% Work from office in Nairobi
Hours: USA Aligned Working Hours
We are seeking a Front-End Developer with a strong UX/UI focus to help build and deliver customer-facing products. This role combines user experience design, front-end development, and product delivery, ensuring intuitive, high-quality applications that are production-ready and aligned with customer needs.
The successful candidate will work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to develop engaging user interfaces, support customer pilots, and contribute to the successful rollout of products to market.
Key Responsibilities
> Design and develop intuitive, user-friendly front-end applications and interfaces.
> Translate UX/UI concepts, wireframes, and designs into high-quality production-ready solutions.
> Implement front-end business logic and application functionality.
> Collaborate with product teams, designers, and stakeholders to improve user experience and usability.
> Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and resolve identified issues.
> Participate in customer-facing product pilots and proof-of-concept deployments.
> Ensure applications meet quality, performance, accessibility, and responsiveness standards.
> Contribute to the continuous improvement of front-end development practices and user experience standards.
> Work closely with design partners and customers to gather feedback and enhance product functionality.
> Support product launches and ongoing production readiness initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
> 3–5+ years of professional front-end development experience.
> 2+ years of experience designing and building UX/UI-focused applications.
> Proven experience developing production-facing web applications.
> Strong UX/UI design and implementation skills.
> Experience supporting UAT processes and customer testing activities.
> Experience with modern front-end technologies and frameworks (TypeScript + React, modern CSS, consuming REST/GraphQL.).
> Strong understanding of responsive design, usability, and accessibility principles.
> Ability to collaborate effectively with product, design, and engineering teams.
> Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience
Experience within SaaS, enterprise software, or technology product environments.
Experience supporting product pilots, proof-of-concepts, and customer deployments.
Exposure to design systems and front-end performance optimisation.
