Job Description
Role Description This is a full-time Co-Founder role based in Nairobi County, Kenya, with a hybrid work model that allows a combination of on-site collaboration and some work from home. The Co-Founder will help shape the company’s strategic direction, define product vision for both LyfeLine Systems and the MyLyfeLine app, and support the development of scalable, compliant, and secure solutions for public safety and personal protection. Day-to-day responsibilities include driving go-to-market initiatives, building and maintaining key partnerships with hospitals, clinics, dispatch centers, and strategic technology partners, and contributing to fundraising and investor relations. The Co-Founder will collaborate closely with technical, operations, and product teams to prioritize features, refine user journeys, and monitor performance metrics and customer feedback. The role also involves representing LyfeLine Technologies at industry events, supporting team-building and culture, and ensuring that business decisions align with the company’s mission and impact goals.
Qualifications
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, evaluate market opportunities, and make evidence-based strategic decisions.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly, build trust with diverse stakeholders, and represent the company externally.
• Proven experience in sales, including developing pipelines, negotiating deals, and managing key accounts in B2B and/or B2C settings.
• Marketing capabilities, such as crafting value propositions, supporting go-to-market plans, and contributing to brand positioning and growth campaigns.
• Research skills to understand user needs, industry trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory environments in healthcare, safety, or related sectors.
• Prior experience in startups, technology ventures, or SaaS businesses, ideally within healthtech, emergency services, or public safety ecosystems.
• Demonstrated leadership in building or scaling teams, with a collaborative, inclusive, and mission-driven approach.
