Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Solar Installation Technician to join our team for our company projects of Solar Installation . The ideal candidate must be licensed by the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) and have experience in solar system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, test, and commission solar PV systems (off-grid, hybrid, and grid-tie).
Mount solar panels, connect wiring, inverters, batteries, and charge controllers.
Conduct site surveys and system assessments.
Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of solar systems.
Ensure installations meet safety standards and EPRA regulations.
Prepare installation reports and system documentation.
Guide Users on proper system usage and maintenance.
Requirements:
Valid EPRA Solar PV Technician License.
Diploma/Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
Minimum 2 years experience in solar installation.
Good understanding of solar PV systems, batteries, inverters, and controllers.
Ability to read electrical diagrams and system designs.
Experience using electrical testing tools (multimeter, insulation tester, etc.).
Strong problem-solving and technical skills.
Valid driving license is an added advantage.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with lithium battery systems.
Knowledge of solar system sizing and design.
Ability to work independently and in teams.
Good communication and customer service skills.
