Sr. Project Manager -- Telecoms and OpEx

6-month Contract-to-Hire.

We’re looking for an experienced
Senior Project Manager
to lead complex technology and operational projects that improve our core platforms, systems, and processes. You will drive IT and OpEx initiatives from planning through delivery, working closely with Product, Engineering, IT, and business teams in a fast-paced environment.

This is a hands-on role focused on execution, risk management, stakeholder alignment, and delivering measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple complex IT and operational projects (infrastructure, applications, system upgrades, migrations, integrations, etc.).

• Manage project scope, timeline, budget, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies using standard project management practices and SDLC processes.

• Partner with Product Managers and Business Owners to successfully launch new products, services, and platform enhancements.

• Work closely with Engineering, IT, and Operations teams to improve system performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.

• Support telecommunications platform initiatives (voice, messaging, carrier integrations).

• Drive operational readiness, change management, and user adoption for new systems and processes.

• Provide clear status reporting and communication to leadership and cross-functional teams.

• Contribute to improving project delivery processes, tools, and templates.

• Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and data governance standards.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience in technology / IT environments, with a strong track record delivering complex projects.

• Proven experience leading infrastructure, application development, system migration, and platform projects.

• Experience in telecommunications, contact centers, or communications platforms (VoIP, SIP, carrier integrations, etc.) is strongly preferred.

• PMI Certification (PMP) and Agile training/certification (preferred).

• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, and MS Office tools.

• Background working with ERP, CRM, HRIS, or mobile application projects is a plus.

• Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language and plans.

• Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, agile environment and can handle shifting priorities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience.

• Willingness to travel up to 5% and work flexible hours when needed.
