MEDIA PRODUCTION & SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN

Position Type: 3-Month Internship (Leading to Full-Time Employment)

Uliza Group is looking for a creative, hands-on, and highly disciplined Media Intern with strong skills in video production, graphic design, and social media management.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about media, storytelling, and digital content creation, with the ability to work both in the office and on-ground at events.

Key Responsibilities

• Shoot high-quality videos and photos during events and on-ground activities

• Handle camera operations (including panning, angles, and framing)

• Edit short-form videos (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)

• Edit long-form videos (interviews, podcasts, documentaries)

• Set up and manage podcast recordings and shows

• Create engaging social media content (posts, reels, stories)

• Design posters and graphics using Canva, Adobe, or similar tools

• Manage and grow social media pages (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn)

• Assist in event setup and media coverage

• Participate in content planning and show production

Requirements

• Background in Journalism, Media, Film, Communication, or related field

• Strong skills in:
• Camera handling & shooting

• Video editing (short & long-form)

• Graphic design

• Social media content creation & management

• Experience using tools like Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.

• Ability to use gimbals and multiple camera setups

• Understanding of social media trends and viral content

• High level of discipline, consistency, and work ethic

• Willingness to work on-ground at events (including weekends when required)
