**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced full stack data engineer to join our team at arenaflex. As a data engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex data entry systems for Southwest Airlines. You will work closely with our data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to identify business needs and develop innovative solutions to meet those needs. Your expertise in data engineering, data analysis, and problem-solving will be essential in delivering high-quality results and driving business growth.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Collect and process large, complex datasets to meet non-functional and functional business requirements
* Identify, design, and execute process improvements, including re-designing infrastructure for greater flexibility, improving data delivery, and automating manual processes
* Build required frameworks for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various data sources using AWS and SQL technologies
* Develop scientific tools to utilize the data pipeline, providing valuable insights into key business performance metrics, including operational efficiency and customer acquisition
* Collaborate with partners, including data, design, product, and leadership teams, to address data-related technical issues
* Work with partners, including the leader, product, data, and configuration teams, to support their data system needs while addressing data-related technical issues
* Create or modify hardware and technology to meet client needs
* Perform other work duties as directed by Representative's Chiefs

**Essential Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
* 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data analysis, or related field
* Strong knowledge of data engineering principles, including data modeling, data warehousing, and data visualization
* Proficiency in AWS and SQL technologies, including Amazon Redshift, Amazon S3, and Amazon Glue
* Experience with data pipelines, including data ingestion, processing, and delivery
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify complex issues and develop innovative solutions
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

**Preferred Qualifications**

* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
* 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data analysis, or related field
* Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies
* Strong knowledge of data governance and data quality principles
* Certification in data engineering, data science, or related field

**Skills and Competencies**

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify complex issues and develop innovative solutions
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
* Strong knowledge of data engineering principles, including data modeling, data warehousing, and data visualization
