Microsoft Security & Compliance Lead (Power Platform & Microsoft 365)
Location: Nairobi, Kenya
Work Setup: 100% Office-Based
Working Hours: Australian Business Hours
Own governance, compliance, and security controls across Copilot Studio and Power Platform deployments within enterprise automation environments.
This role ensures AI-enabled automation solutions operate safely, remain compliant with enterprise data protection standards, and adhere to regulatory and organisational security requirements.
The ideal candidate is a senior governance specialist who can balance innovation with risk management in AI automation programs.
Key Responsibilities
• Define and enforce enterprise Power Platform governance frameworks across delivery squads.
• Configure and manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and connector security controls.
• Ensure Copilot agents operate within approved knowledge and permission boundaries.
• Manage identity and access security using Microsoft Entra ID.
• Conduct solution risk assessments before production automation releases.
• Support audit readiness, compliance documentation, and regulatory reporting.
• Provide security and governance guidance to automation squads.
• Monitor platform usage to prevent unmanaged shadow IT deployments.
Required Skills
• Minimum 5–8 years experience in enterprise security, governance, or platform compliance roles.
• Strong experience with Power Platform security and governance.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Purview, DLP frameworks, and compliance controls.
• Understanding of Microsoft Entra ID authentication and access management.
• Ability to design guardrails for AI-enabled automation environments.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging technical and business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
• Microsoft certifications such as:
• SC-100 | SC-200 | SC-300
• PL-600 or governance-focused Power Platform certifications
• Experience supporting regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or enterprise SaaS environments.
• Exposure to Copilot or AI agent governance frameworks.
